Chris Brown Gives Back At Jenesse Domestic Violence Center ...

Published by Danica Daniel on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 8:16 am.

Chris Brown might sing about the ?beautiful people? but during a special visit to Los Angeles? Jenesse Center, the Grammy Award winner was focused on the students as he got the kids ready for school and joined the youth advocate group, The Change. Flashing a winning smile, Brown turned up the charm as he volunteered with the non-profit organization which specializes in domestic violence of woman and children.

?It?s in my heart to show my fans, my friends and family and the families at Jenesse who stood by me, that they were right to give me another chance,? said Brown. ?I?m working hard to make them proud.?

Brown, who often has visited the Jenesse Center with his mother Joyce Hawkins, also sponsored? The Change Youth Conversations which included more than 200 teenagers and focused on topics surrounding healthy dating practices and avoiding teen violence in relationships.

?It is our focus on family violence and its impact on youth that compelled us to open our hearts and our doors to Chris Brown and his mother, Joyce Hawkins,? stated Karen Earl, Jenesse?s CEO. ?Chris and his mom have spent many quiet hours at our facilities, no cameras, no special attention or entourages ? they just came to learn. Jenesse is thankful to Chris for spending time with our youth and celebrating the end of summer and returning back to school.?
