GHS robotics team California bound

GAINESVILLE - Gainesville High School's robotics team is headed to California after a win Saturday in Cumming.

The win came at the 4th Annual VEX Robotics Forsyth Qualifier and means the team has qualified for the world championship which will be held April 17-20 in Anaheim, California.

Saturday's event was held at Lambert High School in Cumming and included teams from Newnan, Suwanee, Cumming, Roswell and Calhoun, in addition to Gainesville. There were 43 teams that participated.
