Senior Account Executive(Software)-Rochester | The Assurance Group

This position will be responsible for direct sales and management of a major metropolitan territory geography being Ohio, Kentucky, Western Pennsylvania, Western NY and will include some major accounts to help get the candidate of choice engaged quickly. ?This person needs a strong large-account management background and will require the ability to manage complex sales situations and large projects. The position requires extensive business management skills in order to build relationships with in all layers of customer organizations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in developing quarterly and annual strategic plans in order to drive sale/revenue. Business reporting will include a weekly, monthly and quarterly forecast as well as long term pipeline development. Candidates must have a strong understanding and experience with enterprise software sales and working with partners.

1. Exceed quota

2. Drive sales engagements and develop a process within the region

3. Build strong relationships within all layers of customers and prospects

4. Business planning and reporting (monthly/quarterly forecast and pipeline development)

5. Successful in building strong virtual team and network

Requirements

?Experience handling million dollar quotas

?Strong selling skills in enterprise accounts & experience in selling complex solutions

?Must be a self-starter and strong closer with multi-tasking ability

?Understanding of large business organizations and their buying cycles

?Experience with solution selling as it relates to business intelligence applications or any of the following:? ETL, Big Data, Data Integration, Data base, Analytics

?A minimum BA degree in a technical or sales marketing discipline

?4+ years or Sales or Account Management? experience in a fast-growth, high-technology company
